The Season of Gratitude
When people believe in you, you can overcome anything.
Last week my team and I celebrated the one-year anniversary of The Network. Truth be told, the show was created as nothing more than an excuse to hang out with a few of my closest online friends.
A year later, it grew into a melting pot for creators to kick back, shoot the shit, and reconnect. Additionally, expanding the cast with Brittballs and JargonTV has been a blessing. I couldn’t ask for a more cohesive and family-oriented cast. I’ve seen plenty of podcasts on Twitch and I’m proud that we’re different.
As 2021 comes to a close I’m overwhelmed with a sense of gratitude. Time and time again, creators and their communities believed in what we were doing. Being bold. Going against the grain.
It’s not just an interview show.
It’s a conversation celebrating someone’s life story.It’s not just a group podcast.
It’s merging communities and letting creators speak freely.It’s not just a call-in show.
It’s highlighting the qualities of a creator’s impact on viewers’ lives.It’s not just a tournament.
It’s a globally diverse content creator collaboration
Everything created has been tailored with the mentality of being selfless, generous, and memorable. I think we’re achieving this.
Guests have been pouring in wanting to be interviewed along with countless recommendations from former guests.
I’ve been graced with one of the people’s most precious commodities: trust.
While I’m still working on that “keynote” interview, the journey has taught me something significant about life: a creator is nothing without their community.
